Location

Location and Neighborhood Guide for Pinellas Park

Pinellas Park is the geographic center of Pinellas County, and the center is a good place to live. The beaches, the downtown core and the airport each sit a short drive away in a different direction, so you reach all of them without any of their traffic running past your street.

Buyers who start on the water and work inland usually end up here for the same reason: the address you sleep at should be calm, and everything you want to do should be fifteen minutes from it.

Fifteen minutes in any direction

Dinner, a gallery and a ball game all work on a weeknight, because the whole downtown core sits inside a twelve minute drive. You go for the evening and you are home before the parking garages empty.

Where the county is heading

Ahead of the curve, not behind it.

The finished coastal pockets are priced on everything that already exists there. You pay for the restaurants, the shops and the streetscape on the day you close, and the upside was collected by someone else a decade ago.

Pinellas Park is still filling in, and it is filling in quickly. The county continues to invest along the Park Boulevard and Gateway corridors, new retail and restaurants keep opening within a few minutes of the gate, and the Gateway business district north of us keeps drawing employers who need housing that is close, quiet and new. Every one of those additions lands within your drive time before it lands in anyone else's.

We will not pretend this corner is finished, because that is the point. Owning here means owning in front of the growth rather than after it — a new-construction residence on high ground, in a gated community of twenty-five, in the part of the county that has the most left to gain.

One turn puts you on Park Boulevard, and Park Boulevard puts you on I-275. That single fact is why the beach, the ballpark and the airport all read as short drives from a street that stays quiet on a Saturday morning.
